“There are loads of different hard drives on the market all pretty similar, this is the entry level offering from Freecom the only real difference being that this one comes in a plastic enclosure and the better one is aluminium. All the other brands Western Digital, Seagate, LACIE……all have plastic enclosures as well. Freecom use the latest Hitachi hard drives and after an hour near silent use it gave off very little heat…”
